Founded in 2002, SS TexEquity, LLC, doing business as TexEquity, is a Texas organization, with its office located in Deer Park, Texas. TexEquity's focus is on providing technology and business products and services to small businesses so they may excel and prosper in today's rapidly growing marketplace.
At TexEquity, we take pride in our ability to question, to examine, and to understand the unique traits that distinguish how different businesses operate, what makes them successful, and how business technology systems can be used to improve productivity.

Patricia Swaby
Managing Consultant
Specializing in Software Implementation, Customizations, Training, & Accounting Services
Patricia founded TexEquity after leaving a Corporate Controller position earlier that year. She has more than 25 years experience in accounting and information technology systems and services. Other positions include Controller and Accounting and IT manager. Her work experience includes the following industries: construction, manufacturing, service, medical, and non-profit.
In the past 5 years Patricia has gained extensive experience in installation, implementation, data integration, training and support for a variety of software packages deployed in a vast array of industries. Patricia focuses on Microsoft Small Business Financials and Great Plains Software with third party integrations. She also keeps in touch with her roots by performing regular accounting services for clients.
Patricia holds an AAS degree in Accounting. She is certified on Microsoft Small Business Financials, Great Plains Financial Series, Retail Management – Store Operations and Headquarters Software.
Patricia is active in the community. Involvement includes serving as Deer Park Chamber Ambassador and a member of their Small Business Committee. She participates with the San Jacinto YMCA and is a member of the board and Executive Committee. As a woman owned business she is a member of the WBEA (Women's Business Enterprise Alliance).
Richard Swaby

Specializing in Software Implementation, Customizations, Training, & Accounting Services
Richard came to TexEquity in 2004 after retiring from a Corporate Controller position. He has more than 40 years experience in accounting and 5 years in software training and support. Richard has served other employers in the roles of Controller and Accounting Manager. His work experience includes manufacturing and construction industries. He has experience in installation, implementation, data integration, training and support for Intuit QuickBooks software. His client base includes a vast array of industries, including governmental and non-profit organizations.
Richard is a CPA and holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Masters of Science degree in Accounting. He is an Advanced Certified Intuit QuickBooks Pro Advisor and is certified on Great Plains Financial Series.
Richard taught Accounting Principles as an evening instructor at San Jacinto College Central for several years. He now teaches QuickBooks and Microsoft classes at TexEquity. Richard specializes in QuickBooks software support and training and providing accounting services.
Elizabeth Lawson
Director of Marketing
Elizabeth has several years of marketing management and sales experience. In addition to being a business owner, she was also Marketing Manager for a local manufacturer. Elizabeth works closely with Lisa, to put together marketing campaigns, quarterly newsletters, and preparing for trade shows. With her outgoing personality, Elizabeth has a focus on building new business relationships for TexEquity and marketing the growth of the business technology division.
Cindy Lawson
Marketing
Prior to joining TexEquity, Cindy had enjoyed a 15 year banking career which included holding positions as corporate secretary, secretary to the Board of Directors, Purchasing Agent, and Director of Human Resources. She holds a certificate of completion from the National School of Human Resources in Boulder, Colorado. Cindy serves as an Ambassador with the Deer Park Chamber of Commerce and is involved in other community activities.
Derrill Mallett

He also is an illustrator and creator of Flash-driven animations.
